Established 1983,
Family Week (August 6 - 14, 2011) is an annual celebration that focuses on family unity, while promoting the importance of peace and community reintegration. This week-long summer celebration includes recreational and educational events and activities held throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area in family-friendly environments. Click on the Schedule icon below for more information on scheduled events.
As in years past, the 2011 celebration is committed to reinforcing BFL's mission to stop violence through the "PEACE in the STREETS" campaign, which aims to reshape the attitudes and behaviors of area residents to be empowered advocates that reclaim their communities while tackling unwanted criminal activity.
Join us today in making the 2011 Family Week Celebration and the "PEACE in the STREETS" campaign a success!
